One suggestion to add to this is how to Map a network drive to your computer in windows-7 and XP. just follow carefully all the above instructions and the printing should work. @Aelic92, the reverse was easy for me win7-win7 should work by just going to the winxp machine, go to By only disabling password protection on the win 7 machine, I could see the win 7shares from all xp machines.
