When I set up the homegroup, it says joined and the other computer says ready to job, but when I enter the password, it just keeps searching then says it encountered Both of my computers connect individually and give me their own password, but neither sees the other so I don't get the opportunity to enter the password. Kaspersky Internet Security firewall is set to Local Network on both machines. Especially the list of services proved to be very useful. I've reinstalled Windows 7 and can't get it to work at all, except on one drive on one computer.

It seems that in the process I ended up locking it off completely. I'm talking about your "full computer name". These program can block the connections and prevent you from connecting to a HomeGroup.
