Its only when I start checking the microsoft services back in is when it wont boot up and i get the blue screen. with all my non microsoft services disabled and only microsoft services enabled. I disconnected my hd and ran the boot disc and was able to launch beyond the point where the system was getting hung up.It sucks that this will cost me, but Windows Vista Won't Start In Safe Mode If your problem isn't fixed, try reinstalling Windows or performing a Refresh or Reset on Windows 8.
