In addition, it’s best to simply log off your computer at the end of the day if you anticipate ITS will be performing work on your computer after hours.

The restart/shutdown button has been disable in the gpedit.msc. What are your WSUS settings ? Currently, please first test if the problem exists in Safe Mode.
