It seems to happen when the server is waiting for a report due to a patch pushed out via WSUS, but we may be waiting for a maintainence window before rebooting. It wont be hard to replicate this functionality if any MS people are reading this. If I disconnect from the RDP session, nothing > happens > as I would expect when logging off. In addition, it’s best to simply log off your computer at the end of the day if you anticipate ITS will be performing work on your computer after hours.

What are your WSUS settings ? Currently, please first test if the problem exists in Safe Mode.
