I have been using only MSE/Windows Defender and Windows Firewall for the better part of 3 years now without a single problem. Free Antivirus so as to detect 10/10 viruses rather than 3/10.

I run Win8.1 and have MSE disabled because of certain testing programs I use fucks with it. I wouldn't trust Windows Defender at all.

Over the 28+ years of dealing with business and end users from teens to NASA, it has a lot to do with the end user at the workstation. or is it best to piece together a suite of software that specializes in each of these?
