Trust me, I was on the "Windows is better than all other OSes" bandwagon for years. ProcExp didn't reveal anything either.
It just won't end. I still don't think this problem is totally solved, though. Something is wrong, and its not chrome itself. You claim that Windows is "falling from grace"- how so?
