It worked for me, too! I cancelled Backup, disconnected the old external drive from the computer and reran Backup. I have the same issue as mentioned. The solution was to either permanently assign the external usb drive to a different letter or to uninstall the service. You should notice that you will see your 2 TB Western Digital Hard Drive, it should not show a drive letter assigned to it. 5. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
