I had a mishandled card and one of the "through the board" capacitors got pulled off. If you know you have some oven cleaning to do melt the board firs and then clean the oven. Will this make my oven have an odor. what should i dothen its either the cable or the psu is just too weak to handle the graphics card

You can always try to inject some flux around and under the chip to make the solder better.

Really I can't think of any changes that I've made to the machine that might have caused this. That is a clear sing that the solder is melted almost everywhere on the board. I checked in event viewer though couldn't find any errors corresponding to the time the computer initially froze.

What if your graphics card mostly works but fails after 30-60 minutes with a bunch of lines on the screen.
The copper area acts as an heat sink and with typical soldering iron it is hard to keep it warm enough.
