BSOD When Running [email protected]

englandr753Nov 4, 2009, 12:20 PM I get your point but to me it doesn't make sense to use a driver that can corrupt several work packets from other users. You need to leave one core open for the gpu (thus the unicore suggestion). the last few nights I've been folding for the entire night while i'm sleeping and while I'm in bed I crank the fan on my GTX 570 to 85% (max). I am afraid I don't have any dumps - it seems I need to enable the page file (which I had disabled for my SSD, being afraid to damage the SSD I also looked for a directory in windows that had something to do with dumps and found nothing.

The reason I'm saying that it's when it's sending is because when I reboot it says that it's sending and a new WU usually starts up after the BSOD reboot... Getting a BSOD when running GPU-Z after standby (GeForce videocard) Discussion in 'GPU-Z' started by Naki, Jan 28, 2013. Do you have any trouble doing anything else with the video card when you come out of standby that quickly other than GPU-Z? Or do you mean a GPU testing app, such as MSI Afterburner, FurMark, or 3DMark?

Your post is inspiring me. I have now enabled a page file on the SSD partition as well, which I assume will mean the dump files will now get created from now on. solved Windows 7 Home Premium / No sound after driver rollback. find more info Password Advanced Search Show Threads Show Posts Advanced Search Go to Page...

what doe that fold off of? No trouble running [email protected], which I use to fold on my CPU+GPU. Even though I have the options you mentioned set, there are no dump files - if you need dump files (not sure if you get any BSODs on your system or EDIT #2: OK, someone please de-code this message for me: (Windows 7, 64-bit, Ultimate, SP1 + all updates) Last edited: Jan 30, 2013 Jan 30, 2013 at 7:51 PM #13

Be sure to use Precision and crank those shaders up. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/getting-a-bsod-when-running-gpu-z-after-standby-geforce-videocard.179437/ Try bumping it one or two notches. Thank you for any assistance on this matter! But there is no MEMORY.DMP file, and not even a Minidump folder! (where the minidumps should go) EDIT #:2 Here is a larger photo of the BSOD: EDIT: OK, like what?

Their price has also come down to a point that they are very affordable. I pull enough juice running the OC'd 2600k the way it is. I'm out of ideas and any help would be appreciated. have a peek here Naki says thanks.

didn't get to it this weekend, but the cards are watercooled and have been for the past year or so, so i might have to take apart the blocks and clean I have one SSD (Windows 7 is on it) + 3 HDDs and it seems Windows 7 needs a page file on the main partition to create dump files. Google Maps for example have caused this for me.

BSOD 101 is linked to needing more Vcore.

EDIT: As you can see, the photo says Windows 7 supposedly created a minidump - but maybe it wasn't created, because I can't find it anywhere. While peripherals are usually the last thing to purchase, they can be very important to your game. EDIT: Folding is the stress test of stress tests.
