Points on Ram: Usually, if you test ram, it's best to test one stick at a time, and "usually", the primary slot, is the second slot from your processor. If it doesn't pass on stock clocks then you have some issues going on. Testing one stick at a time takes about the same amount of time; however, you can usually go through each stick quicker, which makes it seem to take less. I was able to finally identify the issue. It's OK to stop MemTest after 3 passes (IMO), others recommend up to 7 passes.
